Metro 3/5 AB+ €4.80 / ~20–25′ to centre; Metrobus 150 ~€1.45 but no Sunday inbound; taxi +€5.40 / €12.50 min.

Metrovalencia lines 3 (Aeropuerto–Rafelbunyol) and 5 (Aeropuerto–Marítim Serrería) share the airport station on the ground floor of the regional flights terminal (Aena). Weekday trains roughly every 15 minutes; weekends / holidays closer to every 20 minutes — first/last trains and night extras are published on Aena’s underground page (line 3 from the airport from about 05:27 weekdays; line 5 from about 06:21). Buy an AB+ single (€4.80) or SUMA 10 / SUMA T+ product covering the airport “+” zone at the station machines or desk — first-time card stock may add a small support fee. Useful centre stops include Xàtiva (near Estació del Nord) and Colón. Metrobus line 150 is the budget road option (~€1.45 one-way on Aena’s bus page; ~35–40′ via Mislata / Quart de Poblet / Manises) but Aena lists no Sunday or holiday service toward the airport — do not plan a Sunday inbound on 150. Official taxis at the arrivals rank (Radio Taxi Manises / Valencia APC operators): airport-origin supplement €5.40 and special minimum €12.50 (includes the supplement) under APC urban tariffs; centre often lands around €20–25 daytime before luggage / night / Fallas supplements — confirm the live meter (Tarifa 5 day / Tarifa 6 night–Sunday– holiday).

Classic 100 ml LAGs; Aena Fast Lane €11.10 with 24h preferential door; buffer hard in summer and Fallas.

Pack classic EU LAG rules (≤100 ml containers in a clear 1-litre bag; electronics out when asked). VLC has no published CT / ≤2 L liquids waiver on Aena passenger pages — treat it as classic. Central security feeds the whole airside. Buy Aena Fast Lane / Fast Track on serviciosvip.aena.es (live cart €11.10 for T1; 3-month validity; airline business / loyalty often includes it — confirm with your carrier). Aena states preferential access is open 24 hours. Summer / Fallas (mid-March) and Monday morning leisure banks are when the paid lane pays for itself; quiet winter midweeks are often fine without it. Aim ~2.5 hours early for non-Schengen / peak waves, ~2 hours for quiet Schengen afternoons.

One airside Joan Olivert VIP (PP + Aena paid day pass, showers); Enrique Tomás Market is PP dining credit, not a lounge.

Sala VIP Joan Olivert is the only proper lounge: airside boarding area on planta 1 / P1, Priority Pass places it between Terminals 1 and R close to Gate 12, after security and (when required) passport control. Hours daily 04:00–23:00 (Aena EN lounge page + Priority Pass). Priority Pass / LoungeKey-style cards accepted subject to capacity; Aena paid day pass on serviciosvip.aena.es or at the desk (confirm the live adult and child price; 3-month purchase validity). Aena + PP: max stay typically 3 hours immediately before scheduled departure (PP also notes transit may get 4 hours — confirm desk / app). Aena lists showers, catering / special diets, kids’ area, Wi-Fi, work areas, PRM access and animals allowed — traveler reports vary on hot-food depth by hour. Priority Pass also lists Enrique Tomás Market as an Eat / dining-credit venue (hours commonly 05:00–23:00) — jamón / tapas-style restaurant credit, not a lounge; confirm the live euro credit in the Priority Pass app.

Free terminal fountains; SSID Airport Free Wifi Aena (email verify then unlimited).

Aena lists drinking fountains under Other services for Valencia — empty bottles before classic 100 ml screening, then refill airside (follow fountain pictograms near toilet blocks / boarding corridors). Free Wi-Fi SSID Airport Free Wifi Aena: connect, open the captive portal, verify email as Guest or sign in with Aena Club — after verification Aena states unlimited-duration access (15 minutes free to complete email confirmation). Metro information office sits in arrivals; left-luggage is listed among Joan Olivert lounge amenities for lounge guests — do not assume a public 24h locker hall without checking the live Aena baggage page.
