McGhee Tyson Airport security wait times

~15 min through security at TYS, from our airport directory. Early mornings and holiday weekends run longer.

Budget that on top of check-in or bag drop and the walk to your gate. For your exact leave-home time, enter your flight above: the plan uses the live wait when there is one.

One checkpoint, and it now overflows. Official pages describe one TSA, not two. Arrive 2.5 hours on the 5–7 a.m. bank until the Flight Plan checkpoint expansion is actually open.
