DigiYatra can shrink domestic entry / CISF / boarding for enrolled Indian nationals when e-gates are staffed (pilot June 2024; formal launch 23 Feb 2026), but TRV remains a single-runway Gulf–Maldives–domestic gateway with Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 on opposite sides of the strip. Domestic ~2 hours early is the sane default; international Gulf / Colombo / KL / Singapore-class banks want a full ~3 hours for check-in, CISF, and outbound immigration. Connecting passengers can use Adani’s 24/7 inter-terminal EV shuttle; a same-day originating T1↔T2 mistake is still a prepaid-taxi recovery, not an airside walk. Both live Priority Pass / LoungeKey / DragonPass soft rooms publish 24-hour hours.

Adani puts Terminal 1 (domestic) on the Sankhumukham-beach side and Terminal 2 (international) at Chackai on the city side. There is no sterile campus hop. Adani Lounge by TFS near T2 Gates 1–2 is business / first / premier class only. Without entitlement, buy sealed water and snacks landside before CISF — do not invent a bottle price from old blogs. Use official prepaid taxi counters in arrivals or signed app-cab pickup for the short Chackai–centre run (often ~20–35 minutes). Connecting passengers can ride Adani’s 24/7 inter-terminal EV shuttle. KSRTC Air-Rail EV buses toward Trivandrum Central are the daylight budget tool when signed — confirm the live fare board. Thiruvananthapuram Central and North (Kochuveli) need separate road transfers. Private-car parking is free only for the first 8 minutes, then ₹150 to 30 minutes (Adani tariff from 1 Oct 2026). Do not invent a metro or airport rail platform from Metro DPR headlines.
