Small terminal, real peak banks — pad check-in and security on leisure days and LOT banks.

2025 closed at 467,758 passengers on the airport statistics table — down slightly on 2024 but still a full Ryanair / Norwegian / LOT schedule with summer Antalya / Rhodes / Sharm El-Sheikh charters on the live destination board. The terminal is compact; morning LOT waves and evening leisure departures compress classic 100 ml security and bag drop faster than the building size suggests. Airport before-travel page: be at check-in ~2 hours early for low-cost and at least 1 hour for LOT; desks close 40 minutes before departure.

Single-field campus; the failure mode in 2026–2028 is walking to the old arrivals door instead of temporary Building D.

Landside: check-in / bag drop, public hall, Red/Green parking links, rail stop ~100 m away. Airside: security into Schengen vs non-Schengen holds with SO!COFFEE / Voyage Cafe and Aelia / Relay retail. From August 2026 the airport is handing arriving passengers through temporary Building D (~750 m² with separate Schengen and non-Schengen reclaim rooms) while Stage I of the ~PLN 197.6M terminal rebuild demolishes the old arrivals building — follow live “przyloty” / arrivals signs, not muscle memory from a previous trip. Meeting point: landside after reclaim (confirm the live Building D exit during works).

Two café brands and travel retail — fine for coffee, not a food court.

Airport restaurants directory: SO!COFFEE in the Schengen departures hall and Voyage Cafe in the main hall plus the non-Schengen departures hall (published hours 04:00–24:00). Shops: 1 Minute and Aelia Beauty landside, Aelia Duty Free airside, Relay in the main hall and both departure zones. There is no Priority Pass lounge buffet to fall back on — budget café prices or eat in the city before you ride out.

Weather resilience improved in 2026; construction and the single strip still own passenger delays.

ULC certified ILS CAT II on 21 May 2026 (airport notice): published minima drop to roughly 100 ft cloud base / 300 m RVR on approach and 120 m RVR for take-off, which should cut the fog diversion days the airport counted in 2025. Passengers still share one 2,500 m runway and a terminal mid-rebuild through late 2028 — summer storms, night leisure banks, and temporary arrivals routing through Building D are the everyday disruption modes. Verify live FIDS and airline apps before leaving Szczecin.
