Southampton Airport security wait times

~10 min through security at SOU, from our airport directory. Early mornings and holiday weekends run longer.

Budget that on top of check-in or bag drop and the walk to your gate. For your exact leave-home time, enter your flight above: the plan uses the live wait when there is one.

Parkway station is ~99 steps — Unilink is the city door-to-door bus. Rail at Parkway is the standout SOU advantage; Unilink U1 is the cheap terminal-kerb city bus at £2.60.

£7 / 20 minutes in Short Stay — Long Stay is closed, no free kerb. Budget £7 for a 20-minute Short Stay drop-off; Long Stay closure removed the free remote option.
