VIP Lounge Costa Rica is the Gate 18 Priority Pass lounge at Juan Santamaría. Priority Pass directs passengers after passport control toward Gate 18, then upstairs. Hours on PP (research day 2026-09-19): 04:30–20:00 daily; access from 3 hours before departure; children under 10 free; printers and workstations available.\n\nVerdict is depends: workable daytime PP coverage on the Gate 18 side, but closes 20:00 and lacks first-party HA F&B notes.
Gate 5 Priority Pass lounge 04:30–20:00. Better-reviewed of the two SJO PP rooms, but under refurbishment with possible capacity limits.
