Most important tips

Know before you go

A compact traveler cheat sheet for timing, terminals, food, and disruption checks.

Timing

Arrive 3 hours early for international

The airport recommends 3 hours before international and 2 hours before domestic departures.

Check-in closes 60 minutes before international and 45 minutes before domestic flights. Paid ALLWAYS Fast Track covers the entrance, security and passport control.

Terminal

Domestic and international share one building

Departures sit one floor above arrivals, with separate domestic and international halls.

Everyone is screened at the terminal entrance. International flyers then clear passport control and a second security check before the gates.

Food

The international food court is upstairs

After passport control, the mezzanine has Burger King, Popeyes, Mado, Starbucks, BigChefs and Simit Sarayı.

The pier and remote gates hall have only small cafes like Subway, Take Off and Grab&Fly, so eat before heading to a bus gate.

Status

Punctuality has been strong in 2026

88% on-time departures in June 2026, best of Europe's 20 busiest airports.

Operations were normal on 5 Oct 2026. Check the ISG app or your airline for live status before leaving.
