Treat Bornholm like a true short-field: DAT’s published Bornholm desk closes 30 minutes before STD, and Café Take off’s posted day window is only 09:00–16:00.

Online check-in on DAT’s Danish domestic product opens up to 22 hours ahead; still allow curb-to-gate time for bags and a small security lane that can spike when a Copenhagen bank and a charter bank overlap. Early morning and late evening departures often find the landside café closed — eat in Rønne or bring snacks. Terminal AD hours (summer LT) run roughly Mon–Fri 06:00–22:45, Sat 08:00–19:00, Sun 08:00–22:45; winter Saturday closes 16:00 — confirm NOTAMs around holidays.

Single civilian terminal: landside check-in, Café Take off and play room, then a short security walk into a compact airside hold.

There is no second passenger building and no mezzanine lounge maze. Re-check FIDS for the active gate stand; walks are measured in tens of metres, not terminals. GA and any non-passenger aprons are not shortcuts — stay on public wayfinding. Military traffic is not part of the passenger path; this is a Trafikstyrelsen civil field.

The real plate is landside Café Take off (daily 09:00–16:00). After hours or after security, options shrink to kiosk-style snacks if anything is open.

Destination write-ups describe Take off Hos Casper’s Danish café menu (smørrebrød-style plates, coffee, cake) with apron views before security. Do not plan a Priority Pass meal — there is no network lounge. For evening DAT banks, eat in Rønne before the 5 km transfer.

Self-drive parking is free with a 24 h limit on the front rows; BAT city and regional buses serve the curb; DanTaxi is +45 48 48 48 48.

Rønne centre is only about five kilometres away — BAT routes 22/22C are the town links; 7/8 continue toward Dueodde / the east coast.
