One terminal keeps wayfinding simple, but July–August leisure peaks (July 2025 alone cleared just over 1.0M passengers) still stack Ryanair / Volotea / Wizz / ITA banks at check-in and the main 2nd-floor security hall. Fast Track on the 1st floor (04:30–21:30) is €9 online / €10 at the kiosk and is worth it when the upstairs queue is visible from the atrium — under-12s accompanying an eligible adult ride free. Family Lane on the 2nd floor helps with buggies and baby food. Still pack classic ≤100 ml liquids in a 1 L clear bag unless a live CT waiver is posted.

Departures, security and Prima Vista sit upstairs; arrivals, car hire and the Prestia / coach bays are on the ground-floor arrivals forecourt (right as you exit). The Trenitalia Palermo Aeroporto station is under the terminal — follow “Treni / Trains” signs rather than walking landside to the bus lanes if you already hold a validated €6.80 Tariff 42 ticket. Schengen vs Extra-Schengen splits after security toward the A/B gate letters shown on the boards — leave a passport-control buffer for non-Schengen departures.

Prima Vista Lounge (landside, 1st floor by check-in B) is the main Priority Pass / LoungeKey / day-pass option — buffet, soft drinks, Wi-Fi, AC, accessible toilets on the GESAP lounge page; operator pay-per-visit commonly ~€40 adult / ~€15 child (max ~3 h). It is before security, so exit in time for Fast Track or the main upstairs lanes. Airside F&B is a typical Italian leisure mix of cafés and retail — fine for a coffee, not a food-hall crawl. Free Wi-Fi is “Airport Free Wifi”.

GESAP’s year-end note flags infrastructure upgrades (fountains, seating, P4 parking, Fast Track restyling, a second airside lounge expansion) and ACA Level 3+ carbon neutrality.
