Domestic ~75–90 minutes when quiet; international ~2–2.5 hours; cross- precinct connections need a real landside buffer.

Cabin-bag domestic passengers who already know their pier can often work with about 75–90 minutes curb-to-gate when queues are calm. International check-in plus security and outbound border control still wants about 2–2.5 hours on a normal day — longer in school holidays, FIFO morning banks, and Christmas/New Year. Same-day connections that cross precincts need the free transfer bus (~10–15 minutes driving plus wait for the 20/30-minute headway) after collecting bags and clearing arrivals — build a generous buffer, especially early morning FIFO peaks at T2/T3/T4.

Perth Airport publishes two international-capable terminals (T1 and T3) and domestic processing in T1, T2, T3 and T4. Most foreign carriers use T1; Qantas international (including long-haul to Europe/Asia/NZ) uses T3. Virgin Australia mainline domestic uses the T1 domestic pier with a walkway to T2; Jetstar domestic sits at T2; Qantas/QantasLink domestic is concentrated at T4 with T3 sharing the precinct. Always trust the boarding-pass terminal code — brand alone does not pick the building.

Aspire is the PP soft lounge; T4 PP is eat credit; airline rooms win when entitled.

International Aspire Lounge is the Priority Pass / pay soft product in T1 after security. On the Qantas precinct, PP is restaurant credit only (Coffee Quarter / Hatchery at T4). Entitled passengers should prefer Air NZ / Emirates / SilverKris / Virgin / Qantas rooms over airside grab-and- go during peak banks.

Runway works through ~2029 and Airport Central rebuilds keep changing landside paths — trust live signs.

Construction on a third parallel runway (03R/21L, ~3,000 m) started in December 2025 with a published ~2029 target. Multi-year Airport Central consolidation (new consolidated terminal toward the early 2030s, car parks, eventual Pullman hotel) means roadworks, temporary wayfinding, and changing pickup/drop-off layouts around T1/T2. Follow day-of orange detours and live FIDS rather than muscle memory from a prior trip.
