CFR 6.50 lei ~20–25 min to Gara de Nord; Bus 100 is 3 lei to centre, pickup at Departures.

Follow train signs from arrivals to the covered airport rail station for CFR Călători’s București Nord ↔ Henri Coandă service (~20–25 min; daily including overnight). Official single from 14 Dec 2025 is 6.50 lei at the office, kiosk, CFR app/web, onboard contactless POS, or SMS 7458 — but 13 lei from the conductor, so buy first. Optional seat reservation is 4.50 lei. Some trains also call at Parc Mogoșoaia / Patinoar PO. For Piața Unirii / Victoriei / Română without changing at Gara de Nord, take STB Express 100 (replaced 783 on 2 Dec 2023): 3 lei metropolitan 90-minute ticket (stb.ro/tarife), contactless bank card / 24Pay / ACTIV on board; children under 7 free. Daytime roughly every 15 min, ~30 min overnight. Until Arrivals parking works finish (early 2027), buses 100 and 442 stop only at the shared Departures stop labelled Aeroport Henri Coandă — walk from Arrivals. Bolt/Uber/Blue and licensed taxis also pick up at Departures only. Ignore touts inside the hall. Metro M6 to the airport is not open (optimistic public timelines now 2028–29).

Originating OTP: up to 2 L LAG containers; transfers still 100 ml.

CNAB confirmed that passengers whose journey originates at Henri Coandă or Băneasa may carry liquids, aerosols and gels in individual containers of up to 2 litres after next-gen cabin-baggage scanners entered service on 11 Mar 2026. Transit and transfer passengers must still follow the classic ≤100 ml / 1 L bag rule for onward airports that have not waived LAGs. Laptops and large electronics are often left in bags at CT lanes — follow posted lane instructions. Non-Schengen departures still need passport/EES processing after security; first-time non-EU EES enrolment is live at OTP (Romanian Border Police, from 2 Mar 2026). There is no published priority security lane.

Gate 3 Schengen + gate 9 Satellite; 24/7; walk-in €45 VAT incl. Do not count on Priority Pass.

CNAB operates two Business Class lounges (combined 170 seats, 24/7) on the second floor of International Departures: near boarding gate 3 on the Schengen flow (often labelled Dacia) and near gate 9 on the Satellite / non-Schengen pier after passport control. Entry is airline invitation / premium cabin or eligible status, plus certain Romanian bank premium cards. Occasional walk-in is an official CNAB tariff of €45 per person VAT included for a maximum 4-hour stay. Live Priority Pass HTML for Henri Coandă showed no experiences on 13 Oct 2026; DragonPass’s Romania directory lists CLJ, IAS and TSR only; Mastercard LoungeKey HTML lists CLJ, IAS, SBZ and TSR — not OTP. Do not count on those programmes here unless the live app on your travel day names the room. Lounges fill in the early Wizz/TAROM morning banks. Protocol VIP rooms are a separate paid product, not these two.

Nine CNAB water stations at OTP (Apr 2026); tap water potable since Feb.

CNAB installed ten hydration points across Bucharest’s airports in April 2026 after February works made Otopeni tap water microbiologically pure — nine at Otopeni, one at Băneasa — in public halls, gate areas and arrivals, with bottle fillers and fountains. Empty the bottle through security if staff ask, then refill airside. Sealed shop water is the backup when a station is queued; April 2026 coverage cited typical airside bottles around 15 lei. Airside F&B mixes chains with Romanian plates (mici, sarmale).
