Follow Metro signs from arrivals into the Aeroporto station attached to the terminal — no shuttle hop. Line E (Violet) runs toward Estádio do Dragão via Trindade; city-centre hotels are usually a Trindade walk or one metro change. Airport→centre is Andante zone Z4: €2.30 per single title from 1 Jan 2026 (Metro do Porto Portuguese fare page) plus a €0.60 reusable Andante Azul card if you do not already have one — validate before boarding. Machines and ticket office are at the station; English UI is available. Taxi rank and ride-hail (Bolt / Uber / Free Now) sit outside arrivals; daytime centre rides are often in the low-to-mid €20s on the meter and frequently cheaper on apps — ask the driver for an estimate before leaving if the meter worries you.

ANA’s Porto liquids page still requires ≤100 ml containers in one resealable transparent bag (~20×20 cm / ~1 L). Lisbon and Porto remain on early-2026 reporting lists of airports that have not raised the cabin liquid limit — assume electronics out unless lane signage says otherwise. Paid Fast Track (priority dedicated channel, SLA under ~4 min in ANA’s Security Express framing) is €11 online / €12 at the kiosk (IVA included, Guia de Taxas Comerciais Extra-Aviação in force from 1 Jan 2026); channel open 04:00–23:00; under-2s free with a paying adult. Buy only via store.ana.pt / the ANA app or your airline — ANA warns about illicit third-party QR codes.

After security, take lifts/escalators to Level 3 near departure gates 31–32 for the ANA Lounge (airport-operated). Priority Pass lists daily hours 04:00–21:00 for international and domestic; amenities include complimentary snacks, Portuguese products and wines, soft/alcoholic drinks, Wi-Fi, power, PressReader, and runway views. ANA caps paid stays at three hours; adult walk-in / online entry is €38 IVA included (child 3–12 €19) per ANA’s lounge fee table carried into 2026. Capacity limits apply at peaks — PP holders should check the app. TAP’s own lounge page lists branded TAP Premium Lounges in Lisbon and Paris-Orly only; eligible TAP / Star Alliance status traffic at Porto is generally handled via the ANA product or airline contracts, not a separate TAP-branded room.

Free fountains left after security; none past non-Schengen passport.

Two free multi-temperature water dispensers sit immediately after security on the left (traveler reports through Dec 2025; one unit sometimes queues or pauses when chilled water recovers). Bring an empty bottle through screening. There are typically no refill stations after passport control in the non-Schengen gate pocket (roughly gates 1–13) — ask a café to fill a bottle or buy sealed water. Cheapest sealed bottles have been reported around €1 at a post-security vending machine when the fountain queue is bad; shop prices are higher. Toilet tap water in Porto is generally potable if you need a backup.
