Schengen ~90 min; non-Schengen ~2–2.5 h; security itself is usually short.

Security is usually 10–15 minutes. Official lounge rules still give you only 2 hours before a Schengen departure and 3 hours before non-Schengen, which is a good planning envelope: 90 minutes for a simple Schengen hop, closer to 2–2.5 hours with bags or a UK/long-haul passport check. Morning 06:00–09:00 and evening 17:00–20:00 are the peaks. T2’s new non-Schengen hall (spring 2025) plus 2026 pier works can shuffle walking time — follow current wayfinding.

T1 Library/Canopy, T2 Infinity/Levity — booking must match the boarding area.

Air France and many full-service flights use T2; T1 still handles a large low-cost / mixed mix. Confirm on the boarding pass. Free shuttle every few minutes (or a short walk with light bags). Official e-commerce lounge rule: T1 Schengen = Library, T1 non-Schengen = Canopy, T2 Schengen = Infinity, T2 non-Schengen = Levity — the desk will refuse a booking for the wrong boarding area.

Tram Solo €1.70 on La Carte (or €10 airport return); taxi Nice Centre €32.

Tram Line 2 runs T1 and T2 ↔ Jean Médecin / Port Lympia about every 8 minutes on weekdays (~20–30 min to the centre). Line B also serves both terminals. Official Lignes d’Azur airport page: pay the **€10 airport return** or travel on a **Lignes d’Azur card at the general rate**. April 2026 fare guide: Solo **€1.70** (74-minute connections) on La Carte (€2 refundable deposit). The €10 product is a dedicated airport return, not a single. Buy before you board. Taxi ranks at both terminals, entrance A3; official 2026 indicatives Nice Centre **€32**, Antibes/Juan-les-Pins **€72**, Cannes **€85**, Monaco **€95** (excl. supplements — Nice booking supplement €4). Official stay window 2 h Schengen / 3 h non-Schengen; book the matching room.

Airport VIP page: access is authorised 2 hours before a Schengen departure and 3 hours before non-Schengen. Priority Pass covers the three long-standing rooms (Library, Canopy, Infinity) subject to the live app; Levity is the T2 non-Schengen room and is more often a paid / airline product than a default PP stop — confirm the app. Day passes sell on the airport site; do not book Canopy for a Schengen T1 flight. Club Airport Premier is the airport’s own loyalty layer for Fast Track / lounge discounts — it is not a substitute for Priority Pass.
