Métropole A1 coaches run Saint-Charles ↔ airport gare routière roughly every 10 min daytime (every 20 min early/late), ~30–50 min depending on A7 traffic. 2026 adult fares: €15 one-way / €26 return; +RTM metro combo €16 / €27; ages 12–25 €7; ages 6–11 €5; under-6 free. Buy online (lametropolemobilite.fr / store.marseille.aeroport.fr/bus), machines, guichets, or contactless onboard. Budget alternative: TER to Vitrolles Aéroport Marseille Provence (VAMP; up to ~73 trains/day) then LeBus+ 13 from Quai 5 (~5 min, €1.20 unit / included in Pass Métropolitain) — roughly €8.70 total one-way vs €15 on A1. Taxi rank is in front of Terminal 1; metered prefectural tariffs — expect roughly €50–65 daytime to Saint-Charles / centre and more at night or in traffic.

Wrong terminal costs more time than any queue; pack 100 ml rules.

Confirm Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 on your boarding pass / airport departures board before you leave for the airport — the buildings are not connected airside. Coupe-File priority screening is €7 per use (or €140 annual) and is offered in both terminals. Pack classic EU liquids: ≤100 ml containers in one transparent ~1 L bag. Marseille has not published a cabin-liquids waiver (still on the 100 ml list as of early 2026 reporting) — assume electronics out unless lane signage says otherwise. Arrive with airline-recommended buffers, especially for early Ryanair/easyJet banks in T2.

Buy T1 salon tickets by zone; T2 flyers use Cantine €23 credit.

Terminal 1 airside only: Salon Union Européenne / domestic (Schengen) online €29, typically 05:00–21:00; Salon International (non-Schengen) online €39, typically 05:30–22:00. Four-hour stay after first entry; snacks, soft drinks, alcohol, Wi-Fi, power, FIDS. Terminal 2 has no airport lounge. Priority Pass / LoungeKey: VIP-European Union Flights Lounge (Schengen/domestic only, Hall B 1st floor after security) plus €23 meal credits at L’Échappée Provençale and Les Jardins Sainte Victoire (T1) and La Cantine du Voyage (T2 airside 1st floor, 04:00–22:00). Non-Schengen PP holders do not get the International salon via PP.

Empty bottle + airside fountain beats buying multiple bottles.

Marseille Provence has installed contactless Twyd drinking fountains in the terminals for refillable bottles. Bring an empty bottle through security and refill airside rather than relying only on shops. Landside and airside cafés still sell sealed water (~€2–€4 typical for 0.5 L). T2 F&B is thinner than renovated T1 — eat or buy water before a long T2 wait if you care about choice. Toilet tap water in French airports is generally potable if you need a backup.
