Chicago Midway International Airport security wait times

~18 min through security at MDW, from our airport directory. Early mornings and holiday weekends run longer.

Budget that on top of check-in or bag drop and the walk to your gate. For your exact leave-home time, enter your flight above: the plan uses the live wait when there is one.

Beat Southwest banks or pay in stress. Arrive 90–120 minutes early for morning and late-afternoon Southwest banks; off-peak security is often quick in this single-checkpoint layout.
