LYR is a one-terminal airport, so walking times inside are short. The schedule risk is High Arctic weather on a lone 09/27 runway with no parallel taxiway, plus a sparse winter bank when fog or crosswind holds the field. Pad same-day OSL/TOS connections even when the landside hall looks empty. The airport bus is timed to scheduled arrivals — if bags are late, the bus waits for the delivery, not for a fixed clock.

Svalbardbutikken (Coop Svalbard) documents a kiosk in the departure hall with simple hot and cold food, waffles, drinks, souvenirs, and some tax-free-priced fragrances/creams — hours follow the flight programme. Avinor’s English shopping directory page is thin; do not invent a second airside restaurant. Eat a proper meal in Longyearbyen when your timetable allows.
