Most important tips

Know before you go

A compact traveler cheat sheet for timing, terminals, food, and disruption checks.

Cutoff

The desk closes 40 minutes before departure

Unless the airline tells you otherwise, check-in opens two hours before the flight and closes 40 minutes before. Late passengers are denied boarding.

One hall

One terminal, six gates since November 2025

Arrivals and departures, and the Schengen and non-Schengen rooms, are in the same building. There is no second terminal to walk to.

No lounge

Priority Pass lists Vilnius, not Kaunas

The airport does not publish a business lounge. Eat in the terminal outlets or skip the wait.

Bus

Bus 29 goes to the bus station and the railway station

Buy the ticket in the Žiogas app, by contactless card, at Narvesen, or from the driver. The airport page does not print the fare.
