KRS is a one-campus Avinor field, so walking times are short — the schedule risk is Skagerrak weather on a lone 03/21 runway, bunched SAS / Norwegian / Widerøe / KLM / Wizz / leisure banks, and the published overnight terminal closure. Same-day connections via Oslo need a real buffer even when the landside hall looks empty. From **4 May to 14 August 2026** Avinor’s maintenance notice closes the runway at night while daytime flights are expected to operate largely as normal — still re-check your airline before you travel.

Check-in and bag drop sit landside in the single terminal. After security, follow domestic vs international signage before you settle into Flybar, Foodbar, or Point. Nordea ATMs are published in domestic arrivals, domestic departures after security, and by Tax Free on the international arrivals/departures side. SSP meeting rooms **Hamre** and **Ryen** (12 seats; from NOK **150**/hour or **600**/up to 4 hours) are conference hire on the second floor — not a flyer lounge. Re-check screens; the campus is short but times still move in weather and during the 2026 night works.

Flybar, Foodbar, Point, and Tax Free; hours follow flights, not a 24/7 mall.

Hours follow the flight programme — expect a thinner offer on sparse winter banks than on summer leisure peaks. Kristiansand harbour food still wins if your timetable allows.

There is no Priority Pass / LoungeKey / walk-up passenger lounge on current Avinor Kristiansand shopping or services pages — only SSP meeting rooms. For town, **AKT line 35 (Tveit)** stops on the road outside the terminal on a fixed timetable (will not wait for delayed flights; Entur/AKT live times). Taxi stand at the curb: **Taxi Sør 02322**, **Agder Taxi 38 00 20 00**; drivers must quote a price before departure under post-1 Nov taxi-law rules. **Ridel** airport taxi toward Arendal/Grimstad is pre-book only. **Boat to Gate** is a bookable RIB boat-taxi novelty, not a mass-transit substitute.
