Domestic curb-to-gate is compact; international arrivals/departures add a free shuttle hop before the subway or check-in.

Domestic departures from the east terminal can often work with about 75–90 minutes when you are already on the subway and travelling cabin-bag only. International check-in still wants about 2–2.5 hours on a normal day — and if you arrive by subway you must ride the free shuttle to the west terminal first (~10 minutes ride + walk). Same-day domestic↔international connections need explicit shuttle time; there is no airside corridor.

Runways sit between the two passenger buildings — never assume a walkable airside link.

Subway Fukuokakūkō Station exits into the Domestic Terminal. International check-in, immigration, and Lounge Fukuoka are on the opposite side of the field. Follow “International Terminal Shuttle” / bus-stop signs (Domestic south stop and International stop 5 are the usual passenger pair — confirm live wayfinding). Domestic redevelopment construction through 2027 can move landside corridors — trust dated maps less than posted signs.

Domestic landside and the expanded international airside food court both carry strong Kyushu options — konbini still wins for cheap water.

Domestic has the denser everyday ramen / set-meal / omiyage stack, including classic Hakata tonkotsu counters and mentaiko souvenirs. The international terminal’s post-2025 expansion added a larger airside food court after immigration — useful once you are airside, not a reason to skip a landside meal if you have time at Domestic. FamilyMart / Lawson-style shops are the value hydration buy.

Priority Pass’s strongest FUK door is Lounge Fukuoka on international 4F; ANA/JAL domestic lounges are not PP.

Open the Priority Pass app the day you fly. Lounge Fukuoka (4F, after security and passport control) lists 07:00–21:15 with a 3-hour max stay and won PP’s 2026 Asia-Pacific regional lounge award — default PP pick. Korean Air Lounge is secondary and hour-constrained. Lounge TIME rooms are paid/card products, not PP. ANA and JAL domestic lounges on 2F require airline cabin/status (or JAL’s limited paid Sakura offer when published).
