Most important tips

Know before you go

A compact traveler cheat sheet for timing, terminals, food, and disruption checks.

Arrive

Official pages print a 45-minute bag close for Allegiant and Delta

Official pages print Allegiant arrive 2 hours prior and Delta arrive 1 hour 30 minutes domestic. Official pages print checked bags to the ticket agent 45 minutes prior to board time with no exceptions.

Official pages print no TSA wait clock. The 8-minute security wait on the score card is unpublished. TSA leftover 19 Jan 2022 prints a CT scanner at this checkpoint. Official Security leftover-prints SIDA / AOA badging only at 607-873-1310. Official pages print no PreCheck card. Do not invent CLEAR.

Hall

One Horseheads hall, not a KELM page

Official pages print one commercial hall at 276 Sing Sing Rd #1. Official pages print Bluestone before TSA and Grub & Go after security. Official pages print a mothers room after TSA near Gate 1.

Official Layout leftover-prints no walkable caption. Do not invent a second passenger hall or a KELM slug. Official pages print Atlantic Aviation at 3 Progressive Drive and Premier Aviation at 236 Sing Sing Rd as separate GA terminals.

Eat

Eat Bluestone before TSA if you want the sit-down

Official pages print Bluestone landside before the TSA checkpoint. Official pages print food through security, no beverages. Official pages print Grub & Go after security for snacks, breakfast, Starbucks coffee, and beverages.

Official pages print no restaurant hours, no menu tariff, no mapped fountain, and no bottle tariff. Buy a sealed drink at Grub & Go if you want water after screening.

Board

Confirm DTW, MYR, PIE, and SFB on the live board

A 17 Sep 2026 FlightAware board printed SkyWest CRJ9s to Detroit and Allegiant to Myrtle Beach and St. Petersburg/Clearwater, plus a scheduled Allegiant inbound from Sanford.

Official pages print NEW DESTINATION - MYRTLE BEACH. Wikipedia leftover-prints year-round SFB / PIE and seasonal MYR / PGD / SRQ. FlightRecord leftover-prints SFB as a regular route. Those leftover destination cells do not all match one Thursday board. Do not invent live American, United, Southwest, Spirit, Frontier, or JetBlue on that board.

Honest verdict

Who this airport works for

Best for

Detroit connections on Delta Connection / SkyWest
Allegiant Florida and Myrtle Beach leisure turns
Drivers who can use the $9 Economy lot with a credit card

Watch out for

Official 45-minute bag close for Allegiant and Delta with no exceptions
No passenger lounge and no mapped drinking fountain
Official Ground Transportation prints Lyft and taxis, not CTRAN; the bus card lives on ridectran.com

One Chemung County passenger hall at 276 Sing Sing Rd #1, Horseheads, NY 14845. flyelm.com prints that address and switchboard 607-739-5621. County Contacts prints 2 76 Sing Sing Rd. Suite #1, the same 607-739-5621, and flyelm@chemungcountyny.gov. Those address-spacing cells do not match. Official pages print Director of Aviation Thomas Freeman at 607-873-1115, Airport Operations 607-426-5621, and the Airport Manager office Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with 16 County employees. AirNav prints manager THOMAS FREEMAN 607-739-5621, owner COUNTY OF CHEMUNG, elev 955.1 ft, and 6 miles NW of the CBD.
FAA preliminary CY 2025 prints locid ELM, city Elmira, airport Elmira/Corning Regional, rank 227, 106,375 enplanements (+24.13% vs 85,696). That boarding file is not a total-passenger count. Wikipedia prints 1,000 acres, elev 954 ft, 7 miles northwest of Elmira and 8 miles east of Corning, 22,164 operations in the year ending 30 Jun 2013, and 33 based aircraft. Those acre, elevation, and passenger cells do not match the boarding file.
Official Airline Information prints Allegiant and Delta only. Official pages print Allegiant reservations 702-505-8888, baggage 866-719-3910, arrive 2 hours prior, and NEW DESTINATION - MYRTLE BEACH. Official pages print Delta flight info 800-441-1818, reservations 800-221-1212, arrive 1 hour 30 minutes domestic and 2 hours international, and bags to the ticket agent 45 minutes prior for both carriers. A 17 Sep 2026 FlightAware board printed SkyWest CRJ9s to Detroit, Allegiant A320 / B38M turns to Myrtle Beach and St. Petersburg/Clearwater, and a scheduled Allegiant inbound from Sanford. Do not invent live American, United, Southwest, Spirit, Frontier, or JetBlue on that board.
Official Passenger Services prints Bluestone landside before TSA, Grub & Go Snackbar after security with Starbucks coffee, charging stations, pet relief after TSA, a mothers room after TSA near Gate 1, conference room 607-873-1116 or 607-873-1310, and therapy dogs. Official pages print no passenger lounge, no public SSID, no mapped drinking fountain, and no bottle tariff. Priority Pass /en/airport/elmira-corning-regional-airport 404ed on 17 Sep 2026.
Live official Parking prints Short Term daily max $12.00 / weekly $60.00, Long Term daily max $11.00 / weekly $55.00, and Economy credit-card-only daily max $9.00 / weekly $45.00, all with 0–15 minutes free and $2.00 first-hour / increment cells. Official pages print Finger Lakes South Enterprises 607-329-7503.
Do not invent a KELM slug. Passenger IATA is ELM. ICAO KELM and FAA LID ELM are identifiers. Do not merge BGM, ITH, SYR, ROC, AVP, or the nearby Wings of Eagles Discovery Center as this TSA hall. Write as a public commercial Chemung County field, not an airbase page. Official pages print Atlantic Aviation and Premier Aviation in separate terminals. Wikipedia leftover 2013 mix printed 2% military operations; that leftover mix is not this passenger page.
