Most important tips

Know before you go

A compact traveler cheat sheet for timing, terminals, food, and disruption checks.

Lounge

Caral hours follow flight schedules

Priority Pass lists open daily with hours that vary by flights; Caral’s own site cites 06:00–20:00 — confirm before a late departure.

Max stay 3 hours on Priority Pass.

Gates

Caral sits opposite Gate 6 after security

Airside after security checks, opposite Gate 6 on Priority Pass (Caral also cites Gate 5).

Compact single-terminal layout — easy to find once airside.

Island

No rideshare — plan taxi or hotel transfer

Secondary guides note Uber/Lyft are not available on Cozumel; use authorized airport taxis.

Ferry to mainland Playa del Carmen requires a separate transfer to the downtown pier.

Watch-out

Beer and wine only — capped at three

Complimentary alcohol on PP is beer/wine only, max three; premium and extras are paid.

Treat it as a snack + soft-drink room if you want more than three drinks.

Live conditions

Right now at CZM

Security waits and operational status from official feeds, where the airport publishes them.
