Bandaranaike International Airport security wait times

~20 min through security at CMB, from our airport directory. Early mornings and holiday weekends run longer.

Budget that on top of check-in or bag drop and the walk to your gate. For your exact leave-home time, enter your flight above: the plan uses the live wait when there is one.

Budget three screens, not just check-in. Be at the gate 45–60 minutes early. CMB often screens at the entrance, the central checkpoint, and again at the gate.
