Most important tips

Know before you go

A compact traveler cheat sheet for timing, terminals, food, and disruption checks.

Timing

Arrive 90-120 min early

Security rarely exceeds 10 min; use live monitors on bud.hu to pick faster 2A or 2B side.

Peak mornings (8am-12pm) add slight queue pressure but still under 5 min average.

Terminal

SkyCourt is the hub

All departures funnel through central SkyCourt security between 2A and 2B.

Post-security, Schengen stays 2A side; non-Schengen crosses to 2B gates.

Food

SkyCourt food court pre-security

Best variety and prices before security; airside options limited and pricier.

Grab sandwiches or coffee here if lounge access is unavailable.

Status

Check bud.hu for live security

Real-time wait times for normal and Fast Track posted for both sides.

Fast Track available via some lounges or paid options during peaks.

Live conditions

Right now at BUD
