Timing

Official ask is two hours — TSA opens one hour before the first departure

Ticket counters and kiosks sit on Level 2. The checkpoint opens one hour before the day’s first scheduled departure and typically closes about 25 minutes before the last.

Landside stays open 24/7. Overnight sleepers stay in front of TSA. REAL ID (Idaho Star Card), passport, or TSA’s other acceptable IDs — from 1 Feb 2026 a $45 Confirm.ID fee is the fallback if you still want to fly without one.

Concourses

One checkpoint, then B upstairs or C downstairs — C is mostly stairs to the ramp

Concourse B is the jetbridge hall (United, Southwest, Delta, American, common-use). Concourse C is Alaska-only; only C8a and C12 have bridges.

Wikipedia’s gate-by-airline map is useful but stale the moment FIDS moves a bank. There is no Concourse A today — the master-plan A is still a 2027-start project. Do not walk south toward Gowen Field / the 124th Fighter Wing.

Food

Clear first — the real kitchen is the food court plus Tap House and Turas

Landside Treefort Outpost (04:30–21:00) is the only sit-down before TSA. After security: Bardenay, Idaho Tap House (B), Turas Flights & Bites (C), plus a food-court stack.

Nothing except vending stays open overnight. Travel@Ease is 24 hours on B; Concourse C has a 24/7 hot-food / espresso machine. Construction-updates HTML still reads like a renovation notice — trust the Restaurants & Shops list, not that page.

Live checks

No lounge, no PP, no Spirit — and this is not Gowen Field ops

Live Priority Pass USA (9 Sep 2026) has no Boise pin. Official airlines: eight names, no Spirit. Gem Air and McCall Aviation ticket on Level 1 west of bags — they are not the jetway product.

Homepage and the destinations page say 29 nonstops / eight airlines. The 23 Jan 2026 press release still said 27 — ONT and later seasonal adds closed the gap. Confirm HNL (Alaska from 17 Dec 2026), STS (Alaska from 2 Nov 2026), Frontier LAS (from 10 Sep 2026), and Southwest LAX (from 11 Mar 2027) on FIDS, not a blog map.
