Most important tips

Know before you go

A compact traveler cheat sheet for timing, terminals, food, and disruption checks.

Strike window

ENAV strike on 30 September 2026

AdP is warning of a four-hour national ENAV strike from 13:00 to 17:00 on Wednesday 30 September 2026. Flights may be delayed, changed, or cancelled.

Check the airline before leaving for the airport. This is a dated notice, not a standing delay pattern.

Border

EES is live for non-EU arrivals

Since 20 October 2025 the EU Entry/Exit System has been operating at Brindisi. The airport says the first phase covers arriving non-EU passengers only.

Security

Fast Track is a side door, not a private scanner

The €5 Fast Track uses a separate entrance into the area before the filters. Aeroporti di Puglia says it does not give you a dedicated X-ray lane.

Buy it online, at the ticket office, or at the fly-cash machine beside security on the first floor. A coupon lasts six months and is one use.

Lounge

VIP Lounge is small and closes at 21:00

The only lounge has 22 seats, a self-service Apulian buffet, and a three-hour maximum stay. It is airside and for departing passengers.

€25 bought in the lounge, or Priority Pass. Under-12s are free with an adult. Do not assume LoungeKey, DragonPass, or Amex.

Traveler Tips
Buy the €5 Fast Track only if the public path into the pre-filter area is backed up. It is a separate entrance on the way to security, then you join a regular X-ray lane. It is sold online, at the airport ticket office, and at the fly-cash machine next to security on the first floor. Each coupon is one person, one use, valid six months, and is not refunded if your flight is cancelled. A refund or later use is described only when AdP staff mark the service itself as inoperable.
