Phoenix-Mesa-Gateway Airport security wait times

~15 min through security at AZA, from our airport directory. Early mornings and holiday weekends run longer.

Budget that on top of check-in or bag drop and the walk to your gate. For your exact leave-home time, enter your flight above: the plan uses the live wait when there is one.

Arrive 2 hours — TSA opens with the bank. Official travel-resources and FAQ cards both say two hours before scheduled departure; the checkpoint opens two hours prior to scheduled departures, not on a printed 4:00 a.m. clock.
